Karolina, 27, has three boyfriends, a sister who wants to be like her, and is emotionally tied to her parents. Yet her story is about egotism and loneliness. About how easy it is to focus on one’s own ego and why egotists have such a need to see their reflection in the eyes of others. Is it a mistake to demand more freedom and strive for independence, when in fact we have too much freedom, and what we really need is a feeling of belonging?

The most important idea behind Kasia’s film is a total freedom and basically infinite number of ways to tell its story. The way Kasia shot the scenes allows arranging them in any order and there will be no fallacies, no inconsequence and mixed-up continuities. There are no seasons, elements of costume, scenography or events that would prevent a scene from being placed in any spot, earlier or later in the story.
